If you subscribe to our blog, you already know how much SNAP Real Estate Photography encourages Realtors to embrace and strategically use social media. We want you to use the incredible SNAP solutions that you purchase from us as much as possible in order to better market your listing and yourself.

But did you know that each particular social media site has an optimal posting time throughout the day? A main reason behind social media marketing for Realtors is to get noticed by as many social media users as possible. Therefore, it makes sense that Realtors would want to post their content at the peak times whereby they will generate the most attention! So when is the best time to post? (all times are EST)

Facebook:
Links posted to Facebook from 1 pm to 4 pm have the highest average click throughs. You should avoid posting on weekends. Additionally, Facebook traffic increases mid-week. So this means that posting in the mid-afternoon on Wednesdays should be a perfect time to post on Facebook.*

Twitter:
Tweeting earlier in the week in the afternoons appears to be the prime time for traffic. Further, Twitter usage substantially drops during the weekend. Did you know that the half life for a link on Twitter is 2.8 hours?*

Blogs:
The average blog sees the most traffic at 11 am. Therefore you should be posting in the morning so viewers can read your new blog posts when they browse your site in the late morning. Additionally, most blogs see the most traffic on Mondays.*

Pinterest:
The best times to post on Pinterest during the day is 2-4 pm. This is basically the peak period of Pinterest use.* Might as well have your content seen during peak usage periods!
