NAR Expo Recap

IMOTO had a great time exhibiting at the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) Expo last week. We came into the expo with the specific goals of connecting with our current clients, identifying new expansion markets, scoping out the newest technological innovations, and acquiring new customers. We are happy to announce that we accomplished all of these objectives! Read on for the details on the ways we reached these goals.

Goal #1: Connecting with our Current Clients

While most companies go into trade shows with the goal to "Sell! Sell! Sell!" we came into the NAR Expo with the goal of listening. Of course we did want to get the word out about our products and services, but we also wanted to make a conscientious effort to connect with our customers (and potential customers). Feedback is extremely important to us at IMOTO, and we pride ourselves on being a customer-oriented company. Going into the NAR expo, we knew that it would be the perfect opportunity to get face-time with our customers in order to learn more about their needs and preferences. Because the NAR conference was in New Orleans, we assumed that we would get to see a lot of our local clients. However, the attendance exceeded our expectations and we were very happy to see clients from all of the states we service. The feedback that we got from our customers was invaluable and we will continue to empower our customers because of it. Our dedication to nurturing our customer relationships is what helps set us apart from our competition, so thank you to everyone who came out...you are truly helping us build a better company!

Goal #2: Identifying New Expansion Markets

While IMOTO is not currently providing service nationwide, we have great plans for expansion. In the last year we have opened more than 3 new territories, and have found that our model can be successful in very diverse markets. Exhibiting at the NAR Expo helped us to identify some potential new markets, and we are excited to start researching them! We were also able to reaffirm our assumption that IMOTO's value proposition is indeed important for REALTORS nationwide. This is great news for us as we enter our growth phase.

Goal #3: Scoping Out the Newest Technological Innovations

One of the great things about attending the NAR Expo as an exhibitor, is that you also have the opportunity to browse the trade show floor. We were excited to see all of the new, innovative technological solutions for REALTORS. Because IMOTO is always trying to stay on the forefront of technology, we had a fantastic time discussing industry changes and new innovations with other tech-rooted firms. While we were happy to see that no other company at the NAR expo was impeding on our USPs (unique selling propositions), the innovations of other companies definitely helps us get our creative juices flowing. IMOTO strives to combine the newest technologies with in-depth customer research to guarantee that we are always providing our customers with solutions to their needs and the highest quality of products. Attending events like the NAR Expo enables us to stay informed and educated about shifts in the industry so that we can consistently exceed our customers' expectations.

Goal #4: Acquiring New Customers

All trade show exhibitors share the goal of acquiring new customers, and IMOTO happily met hundreds of new, potential customers at the NAR Expo this year. We were thrilled to share the benefits of our products and services with curious REALTORS, many of which were unhappy with their current photography providers and looking for new solutions. It was a great feeling for us to hear the agents' surprise at the affordability and quality of IMOTO's products. A few agents were so convinced they wanted to book a photo shoot from our booth at the Expo! Since the NAR Expo has ended, many of our new leads have been explored and we have been busy welcoming all of our new clients.

All in all, IMOTO had an excellent time exhibiting at the NAR Expo. We thank all of our clients for their support and enthusiasm, and we can't wait to work with all of our new clients. And we also want to say thank you to the National Association of Realtors for putting on a great event, as well as the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. We hope to see everyone again soon!
