New Study by IMOTO Photo Finds Listings with Professional Photography Sell Faster and at Higher Prices

REALTORS using high quality images have a significant advantage over standard listings, selling 50% faster and nearly 40% closer to list price

New Orleans, LA – November, 2014 – A new study of residential real estate listings conducted by real estate visual marketing platform IMOTO, found that properties featuring professional-quality photography obtained more online page views, sold faster, and at a higher listing price than properties without quality images.

The study tracked 350 Latter & Blum, Inc. listings over the course of 180 days in the Greater New Orleans area. All listings in the study were photographed by IMOTO photo and compared to average listings in the same region. The study found that listings with professional quality images:

-Sold 50% faster than average;

-Sold 39% closer to starting list price;

-Increased online views by 118%*.

“Homebuyers begin their search online, and they expect a first rate experience with professional-quality photographs,” said Dean Cacioppo, former Director of Internet Services at Latter & Blum. “This data demonstrates the significant impact that high quality imagery has on buyer behavior, and agents are beginning to take notice.”
