Social Media For Realtors.

SNAP Real Estate Photography is always encouraging Realtors to embrace social media. Social media is a FREE tool that real estate agents can use to help sell more listings and generate new buyers/sellers. SNAP's pledge to our clients is to not only provide top-quality SNAP Solutions (products) to our clients, but also to help them use those products in the most effective manner.

Just this past week we met with a veteran Realtor from the Baton Rouge area and began the process of re-developing her marketing and social media plan. Our plan of attack is pretty simple...start by using a few of the social media sites that she already has accounts with. What was interesting is that she new that Realtors should be using social media, but she did not quite know where to start. This is pretty common amongst Realtors. The following checklist should help:

If this all seems a bit intimidating to you, don't worry! SNAP is always here to meet with you to help you break through to embracing social media as a Realtor. You just need to get started. Once you have begun you will find that it really is not that difficult. However, just getting started is not enough. You must commit to this type of marketing to be able to see any true positive results. Feel free to read our blogs on Pinterest for Realtors and YouTube for Realtors.

A very simple way to start embracing social media is to download Instagram on to your smart phone. It is a free app that is available for iPhones as well as Android phones. Use this app to take photos of clients looking at houses...better yet, take photos of clients BUYING houses with smiles on their faces. After you take the photo the app has a very easy function that allows you to post the photo on your Facebook page. Just like that - you will be using social media!
